VBS and News
Dear Emmanuel family,  
     We give thanks to God for the successful VBS!  We thank God for the new friendships we made and for the old ones we renewed!  We give thanks to God for the seed sowed through the Word in our children, youth, and adults!  Thanks to Cindy Rodriguez and to Sharon Ruiz and all their team including the kitchen teams!!  God bless you!
     Please pray for our youth (about 22) who will be going to Youth Camp and to six adults and the pastor who will accompany them!  They tomorrow (Saturday) night at 11:30 pm.  We agree for a mighty move of God among our youth at Youth Camp this week!! 
     We are honored to have Pastor Elisa Lopez Santana, pastor of Govalle UMC, proclaiming the word of God at the 8:30 service.  Her husband, Angel Rodriguez, will interpret for her.  She will return to Puerto Rico, her home, at the end of July, so I wanted us to honor this Spirit-filled servant of God before she leaves Austin.  She will preach on "The Favor of God".  Bro. Paul Arismendez will preach on "Secrets of the Vine/Secretos de la Vid" at the 11:00 service.  Let us pray for these two servants as they prepare.

  • The Praise Team is missing a microphone. It is on a short stand about 15 inches high. The microphone itself is a little larger than regular microphones. It was last seen in the storage closet where the offering money is placed. If you have seen this microphone or if you happen to have it, please call Ernest Rodriguez asap, at 785-7011, no questions asked.
