I will preach from I John during the Season of Resurrection on the theme Walking in the Light. The Scriptures will be:

• April 19 (Healing and Communion) I John 1:1-2:2
• April 26 I John 3:1-7
• May 3 (Eucharist) I John 3:16-24
• May 10 (Mother's Day) I John 4:7-21
• May 17 I John 5:1-6
• May 24 (Ascension Sunday) I John 5:9-13.

The Youth will have their Cinco de Mayo luncheon fundraiser after the
service on May 2. Come out and support our youth as they raise money to go to camp and enjoy the good food as we celebrate our heritage!

Might you need some nifty items from Pampered Chef, Avon, Southern Living, Tupperware, Lia Sophia, Crafts by Leonila (and others) but not want to be pressured to have a party? Then the Emmanuel Trustees invite you to a Vendors Fair on May 2 in Jackson Hall from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. to browse and find the items you want without the pressure. A portion of the profits will go to Emmanuel for improvements to our facilities.
